Description

Saartjie Malbec 2020: Normally your Malbec grape tends to have an inky dark color and robust tannins. This award-winning Saartjie Malbec does not disappoint with its luscious, rich purple shade in your glass. This well-balanced wine presents rich blackberry, plum and mulberry flavours with welcomed spicy notes on the palate. You might even pick up hints of dark chocolate while swirling the velvety, dark colors around in your glass.

Saartjie Petit Verdot 2020: A full-bodied red wine that is highly desired in blends because of its plentiful color, tannin and floral aromas but this bold varietal is making a name for itself as a single-varietal wine. Our Petit Verdot offers up ethereal aromas of mostly black fruit flavors ranging from plum, blackberry and blueberry to slightly lighter black cherry. The unique and intriguing flavours of Petit Verdot have herbal and floral notes, such as violet, lilac, lavender, sage, and dried herbs with hints of spice and liquorice on the nose.

Saartjie Cabernet Franc 2020: This medium bodied wine is the parent grape of both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc produces award-winning wines across the globe due to its diversity of tastes, which is mainly dependent on the climate. Although the grape originates from France, in South Africa it predominantly features in Stellenbosch, Paarl and the Swartland. With its mesmerizing bright red colour, elements of herbaceous, chalky, and dusty road are evident on the nose.
